She won eight medals, seven of these at senior level, at the International athletics competitions.[1]
Biography
She is affiliated with the Fiamme Gialle Castelporziano sports club. Rigaudo represented her country at the Summer Olympics in 2004 and 2008. She was the bronze medallist over 20 km at the 2011 European Race Walking Cup and went on to place fourth at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics, which was later upgraded to silver medal after disqualifications.[2][3][4]
In 2002, she received a public warning for high levels of caffeine in her doping sample.[5] She came third at the 2012 Memorial Mario Albisetti, finishing behind Russia's Tatyana Sibileva.[6]

Elisa Rigaudo (Cuneo, 17 de junio de 1980) es una atleta italiana especializada en marcha atlética.
En el año 2008 acudió a los Juegos Olímpicos de Pekín consiguiendo la medalla de bronce en los 20 km.[2][3][4] La marca conseguida en esta competición es la que hoy en día tiene como mejor marca personal en 20 km marcha, 1h:27:12.[1] En 2011 consiguió de nuevo una medalla de bronce, en esta ocasión en el Campeonato Mundial de Daegu 2011.[5] Inicialmente había obtenido el 4º puesto pero la atleta rusa Olga Kanískina, ganadora de la prueba, fue descalificada el 24 de marzo de 2016 por el TAS acusada de dopaje.[6] La IAAF anunció que las medallas serían redistribuidas en todas las competiciones bajo su control[7] por lo que Rigaudo pasó del puesto 4º al 3º.
