Jawad El Yamiq (Arabic: جواد الياميق; born 29 February 1992) is a Moroccan professional footballer who plays for Spanish club Real Valladolid as a centre-back. He started his professional career playing for Olympique Club de Khouribga.

Jawad was born on July 29, 1992 in Morocco, specifically in the city of Wadi Zem. He later joined the Olympique Khouribga team training center and played in the Moroccan National Championship, where he was known for his defensive strength and physical toughness.
At the age of nineteen, the young defender played his first match in the green team shirt in 2011, where he was distinguished by his large stature and rather huge size, which allowed him to stop his opponents on the one hand and head at corners or direct free kicks on the other.
The 2014–15 Botola season was special for Jawad and his teammates in the Olympique Khouribga team, as they were able to finish as runners-up for the league champion in that edition, in which witnessed Wydad being crowned ''Champion''. In 2015, Jawad won the Moroccan Throne Cup when his team defeated FUS Rabat in the final.[1]
On November 29, 2015, Jawad signed a contract with Raja Sports Club for two full seasons, but he had participated with the Phosphate team in the 2016 African Champions League, where he was eliminated by Tunisian team Etoile Sportive du Sahel.
After 5 years in forming his character with Olympique Khouribga, Jawad decided to leave the latter in search of a new experience with a new team, and he was required by many clubs, perhaps the most prominent of which were Wydad, Raja and the ASFAR.
In Mercato in the summer of 2016, the then 25-year-old Jawad signed a contract with Raja Casablanca for a full four years.[2][3] He quickly got his official in the team, where he was often the line of defense Al-Rajawi consists of Badr Benoun and international defender Mohamed Oulhaj, and thanks to the wonderful performances presented by Jawad, he was able to impose himself as the successor to Olhaj. A focal point in the Moroccan national team for local players. He scored his first goal for the team in a 5-1 victory against Chabab Atlas Khénifra.[4]
At the end of the season, the defense of Raja Sports Club came in second place, knowing that the team ranked third in the general classification of the league. He won the 2017 Throne cup against Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi.[5]
On 28 January 2018, Jawad signed with the Italian team Genoa.[6][7] He was give out on a loan to Serie B team Perugia Calcio. On 29 January 2020, he joined Zaragoza on loan until the end of the 2019–20 season.[8] He made his first appearance for the team against Cádiz.[9]
On 24 September 2020, he signed a four-year contract with Real Valladolid.[10][11] He made his debut against Real Madrid. On 31 November 2021, El Yamiq scored his first goal for the club in a 2-0 victory against SD Eibar.[12]
On 9 January 2021, he tested positive for COVID-19.[13]
El Yamiq represented Morocco in the 2018 African Nations Championship, helping his country to achieve the first chan title for Morocco.[14]
