Early life

Fernandez grew up in Blainville, Quebec.[2] He developed at the academy of local Major League Soccer side Montreal Impact, later renamed CF Montréal.[2]

Club career

Blainville

In 2021, Fernandez left CF Montréal and signed with his hometown club, Première ligue de soccer du Québec side AS Blainville. He made fifteen appearances that season, scoring three goals.[3] He also appeared in the club's only match of the 2021 Canadian Championship, a 2–1 loss to HFX Wanderers.[4]

HFX Wanderers

On 26 January 2022, Fernandez signed his first professional contract with Canadian Premier League side HFX Wanderers, the club he had played against in the Canadian Championship the previous year.[2]
