Marcello Bertinetti (26 April 1885 – 31 July 1967) was an Italian fencer.[1] He competed in sabre and épée events at the 1908, 1924 and 1928 Summer Olympics and won four team medals.[2][3] Individually he won a silver medal in the épée at the 1929 World Championships.[4]

Bertinetti did not compete between 1911 and 1922 when he served as a medical doctor in Libya. Earlier he played football and won the national title in 1908. His son Franco and grandson Marcello also became Olympic fencers.[3]

Marcello Bertinetti (Vercelli, 26 aprile 1885 – Vercelli, 2 gennaio 1967[1]) è stato uno schermidore e arbitro di calcio italiano, vincitore di due medaglie d'oro, una d'argento ed una di bronzo nella scherma ai giochi olimpici. Insieme all'avvocato penalista (e già presidente del sodalizio del 1892) Luigi Bozino, nel 1906[2] fondò la mitica Sezione Calcio della Pro Vercelli (di cui fu allenatore e giocatore), che in breve tempo si imporrà come il principale club calcistico italiano, arrivando a conquistare 7 scudetti e un secondo posto nel periodo 1908-1922, nonché ad essere la prima squadra italiana di calcio ad essere invitata in tournée in Brasile.[ru] Бертинетти, Марчелло
