В турнире принимают участие 736 команд из Англии, Уэльса и Гернси Действующий обладатель титула — лондонский «Челси» был выбит из турнира «Манчестер Юнайтед» в пятом раунде турнира. Победителем турнира стал «Манчестер Сити», завоевав тем самым шестой по счёту Кубок Англии и оформив золотой требл.
