[ru] ФК «Манчестер Сити» в сезоне 2008/2009

Сезон 2008/09 стал для Манчестер Сити 114-м в истории клуба и 7-м подряд в Премьер-лиге. Осенью 2008 года эмиратский шейх Мансур купил 90% акций клуба. С этого сезона началось строительство новой команды. В подтверждение этому был приобретен ряд известных игроков: Пабло Сабалета, Венсан Компани, Робиньо, Жо, Таль Бен-Хаим, Шон Райт-Филлипс и т.д. Однако сезон выдался для команды неудачным - 10 место в чемпионате, вылет из всех кубков, в т.ч. из Кубка УЕФА от Гамбурга на стадии четвертьфинала.
